What's your opinion on J.Harrington's future?

It's hard for me to say too. I don't know whether to keep hoping he'll get better every year. Or, to shred him apart with critisizm. Although I have to admit when you're a Detroit fan I think a little of both comes with the territory. What do you guys think? :-?

He's a bum.

Sign a veteran QB for '05.

keep him for at least another year
give him more freedom
get an experienced veteran QB to serve as backup (and rub off some talent on joey)

In my perfect world they would tell Joey that there are no plays less than 15 yards downfield. He bails out too much an loser dump off passes. I would like to see him throw the ball deep a lot. They tell us Joey's better than he looks and throw out a comparison between he and Manning, saying that Manning has so many more INTs his first year. But what they either aren't saying or don't realize is that Manning was throwing downfield and learning. It shows today when Harrington tries to go deep and waits to long or doesn't read the D correctly.
They've wasted the formulary years of his career teaching him how not to be a passer. Thanks Mariucci, you cowardly Lion, good luck fixing that.

Joey deserves one more year after the Marty era and now Moochs dump and run play calling. I think he has what it takes to be a solid NFL qb. He needs to get rid of the happy feet and take a stand be more of a leader. If you wanna pin all the blame on Joey you havent been a Lions fan for long. Its just a dam curse we have. I think that next year with Bailey back, maybe CRog back, a couple free agent aquistions and a solid draft the Lions could be worth watching.
