YAHOO link to complain on Baltimore TD.

I have Baltimore's defense, but fortunately for me I was up by more than 6 points in my game. (It might matter for a tiebreaker in my league depending on the result of next week's games). From the Yahoo Stat Corrections page it doesn't look like the 6 points went against Cincinnati. That makes no sense at all. A touchdown has to be scored against a defense or for a defense right? If it's not a defensive touchdown then it's an offensive TD. Right now it's being treated as if it never happened.

Yahoo is Aware of the Problem

Postby goodnewsbears » Wed Dec 08, 2004 1:59 pm

FYI guys, Yahoo is going to correct the problem. It hasn't happened yet, but soon will. I just got an email from them. Here is what it said:

Hello,

Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We have corrected Week 13 scoring to reflect the touchdown scored by the Baltimore defense against Cincinnati.

Initially, a data processing error caused Chris McAlister's return
(following Ed Reed's interception) to be interpreted as an offensive
touchdown.  Scoring now accurately reflects a defensive touchdown for Baltimore.

All Week 13 matchup results will be updated to reflect these changes.  Unfortunately, this may result in changes to won/loss records, playoff matchups, playoff seeding, etc.

We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Customer Care.

Regards,

Cliff
