Wow, it took us almost a month to get in an MXC reference for VHawk. Nice job Bagel! ;-D

I don't know... the later in the season it gets, the fewer posts I see that I would want to reply to/comment on... it also seems that people have learned (for the most part) to post in the right forums, so I can't pad my stats with "wrong forum" posts anymore... .
How is my typing? Call 1-555-382-5968
Many posters could benefit from this.

I just picked up Droughns in a trade on the same week I traded away Julius after his Thanksgiving game. It was our trade deadline and I was using his "sell-high" status to get Edgerrin. Let's hope it doesn't come back to bite. I was also looking to off-load Chris Brown and his toe for the Vikes RBs, who I knew were supposed to have Onterrio be the man cuz I was tired of never knowing if Brown would go and he was tired of the past RBBC.

Ill be the first to admit that i have not been around as much lately. Been working on my fantasy basketball team and some real world stuff. So my posts have definitely dropped off. But i do plan on being here during the off-season. To join the elite.

Do you guys remember the thread regarding Cafe members predictions about highest users total....Now seems like a good time to declare a winner...Everbody was aiming at 300 to be optimistic for the cafe...but the winner appears to be closer to 250...

Here is the thread... http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/foru ... 48&start=0

The one prediction i had correct was about the drop off during playoffs. :-D

Looks like we all lose because we all went over....But Iron Chef claimed 261 and the highest total is 240...The thread was started 5 days after the highest user total.

ps Vikes fan did technically say that this is an open contest until the end of the regular season.

Anyone prefer the old Fantasy Football Talk?...It's my second year looking at the site...first year responding to posts.... I kindof enjoyed finding all of my fantasy football information in one forum. Although it does get cluttered the good posts always rose to the top in the FFT forum. Repeats are a part of it when u have that many posts and people who can't visit the site everyday. We'll see what happens but hopefully the posts pick up again.

As the season goes on, people learn they can find the answers to most there questions by reading or doing a quick search instead of just posting a question right away.

I managed to pick up Droughns / Julius / Blaylock off waivers and both Droughns / Jones is my starting backfield this week. I was then able to trade away the likes of Portis for CJ adn still have Priest on my pine. (please come back )

The hardcore guys will be here all year and thats the way I like it. I have already started looking at strategy and plaayers for next years draft. Just stashing tidbits away for next year. It really gets bad for me in early Feb. when the realization hits that there is no football and then you gotta wait a few months for the NFL draft and the training camp.

I prefer the offseason for the reason already stated. To me, the difference in this place between seasons is like night and day.

I know I dont post a whole lot simply beause I got tired of answering trivial start/sit type questions - Id much rather discuss theory, strategy, and team projections.

I agree, theory, stategy, and projections are much more interesting then say - Start Alexander over Pittman. Also, I wasn't here last offseason but I will definately be here this offseason. I just can't get enought of this place!
