Best Trade Timing You've Shown This Season

The week before he lost his starting job I traded Brunnell and Morton (was on a 2 week TD streak) for Palmer and Donte Stallworth.

Small pickens compared to some of these, but it has worked out great. (I am only losing by 5 every week instead of 20-25 pts.) :-#

During week two I was watching the games at BW3s with a couple of guys from the league. One of the guys there was the one that had Todd Heap. When I saw him go down (this was the week he was injured) I was joking around about him needing a quality tight end now to replace Heap. So, this is the deal he offered me...

I Give:
TE Boo Williams

I Get:
TE Eric Johnson
RB Willis McGahee

Needless to say I took it....

I was able to ride the Eric Johnson train for a few weeks while he was on his tear of the NFL (since then I traded for Antonio Gates) and Willis McGahee has been awesome and will be my keeper this year.

I traded Hasselsuck and Thomas Jones for Manning between week 7 and 8.

Hasselsuck has continued to be the same, but week 8, Jones got hurt and was out for a few couple weeks. The week before, Manning started turning it up.

Advantage, me (and I'm hearing it from my fellow FFBers).

I had two trades this year that worked out well.

After the 1st week, I picked up Plummer off the WW and immediately traded him for Joe Horn.

After week 3 I traded R. Wayne and Rudi for LT.

I'm currently on a 9 game win streak, clinched 1st seed with a week to go and have a big lead in overall points, all w/o a top QB (Carr and Brady most of the way). Of course, having Priest early on helped.
My Championship Winning Lineup:
QB: BVolek
RB: JJones, LJohnson
RB/WR: MPittman
WR: THolt, JHorn, EKennison
WR/TE: NBurleson
TE: JWitten
K: JKasay
D: BAL
Bch: KCollins, JGalloway, JPorter, LTomlinson, LBetts, LSuggs

After that 1st week when Griffin blew up, I got Harrison for him straight up. (The other guy picked 12th in out league...he grabbed Moss and Harrison...by the time it came back to him the 2nd time there wasn't much left for RB's.)

Boy was he pissed about two weeks later.

Week 3, I traded away

Johnnie Morton
Deion Branch
DeShaun Foster

and received

Andre Johnson
a draft pick in next years fantasy draft

. . . the next week, Foster is injured and out for the year and Deion doesn't play again until Week 12 or 13. Morton was a throw away as I was about to cut him anyway.

I hope you are talking about Eli and not peyton. That was a ridiculous trade to begin with.

My best trades were:
Traded L. Suggs for Brees/J. Sharper in week 6.
Traded Holmes for McCalister/McGahee in week 10.
Air Shottenheimer has a nice ring to it.
GO CHARGERS!!

Nothing too outrageous, but I traded away Santana Moss to get Derrick Mason in week 4. Turned out roses for me with Mason steadily leading the league in receptions, while Moss has been very inconsistent.
