Thought it would be cool to start a league now for next year and beyond. There are so many variables this offseason -- from the rookie draft, offseason trades, possible injuries, retirements, etc. I'd like to start a league now and have an online auction-style draft in a couple weeks (perhaps around Christmas). Everyone interested has to commit to playing the entire year (even if your stud somehow loses value over the offseason). Trading would be open from right after the draft until into the 2005 season, so a lot could happen overall.

Please let me know if you are interested. It will be a free league through Yahoo with 12 teams.

I'm in! What will we do with the rookies drafted? They just get thrown in the FA pool?

Oh yeah! I'm looking to trade to get the first pick overall (unless I get it) so I can get Manning! :-b

I'd be intrested in it if its free. I figure it is because no cost has been brought up. For rookies we could have it where you like draft at a risk. Like for instance if you draft Matt Leinert and he doesn't come out of college you're basically SOL. So you would have to draft wisely.

I'd be interested in joining. It gives alot more time for players to pull a Ricky Williams, and as long as they aren't on my team, the more the merryer :-b
