You really can not go wrong with either Thomlinson or Portis. If it was me I would take Thomlinson.

I'm going to say Portis. He is indeed a bit more of a gamble than Tomlinson, but at the same time, I think there's going to be less chance of injury or burnout (because there'll be a decent- if unproven- passing game), and he'll be playing worse defenses (only 4 of Denvers games are against top 10 run defenses).
