QB and WR decisions?

Postby umjewboy » Sat Sep 21, 2002 12:11 am

At QB, should I go with Bledsoe against the Broncos D, or Griese against the Bills D? Bledsoe had a RIDICULOUS week last week, but Minnesota's pass defense is a million times worse than the Broncos and Buffalo's defense is pretty pitiful.....what do you think?

Also, for my 4th WR spot (I have Harrison, Conway, and Moulds as the other three), should I go with Donald Driver against the Lions or Donte Stallworth against the Bears? I'm leaning towards Driver, mainly because the Lions are terrible, and with Green probably out, they may cut Favre loose. On the other hand, Stallworth probably is a little more explosive.

Thoughts?

Bledsoe is the better choice, his recievers are loving him!Griese is to inconsistant,Plus Denver has good run D.bledsoe will be passing for sure.Stallworth is gonna have a breakout game soon.

:-t to Donald Driver, he is probably good for 5-60, no more.
;-D to Dante Stallworth. Stallworth is the underdog pick of the week. I guarantee you 100+ yards.

Ha. Horn might get 100, but not Stallworth. Brooks will be too busy peeling himself off the turf...

Must be a bears fan SolarFluX

Unfortunately, the Bears will be hurtin in the defensive secondary with injury to R.W. McQuarters. Tha along with Deuce McCallister, the Saints are going to rip the bears a new.....
Because of big plays from Stallworth, the Saints will win this game by more than a toudown. 27-17.
Brooks will be scrapin himself off the turf, this may be true. But, consider this my friend....The Bears will be pushed around. DT Ted Washington and DE Phillip Daniel are out due to injuries. Brian Urlacher is not that good.

Of course I'm a Bear fan, but you have to remember that Boone is no small cookie... Yes, he might give up one inch and 40 lbs. to Big Wash, but he's faster and will match up better vs. McCallister anyway.

They were without R.W. and Daniels last week and they didn't have any big plays against their backups. Boone played almost the entire game and no big plays up the middle...

Brian Urlacher not that good?? Let's see, he only had 13 tackles, two sacks and a recovered fumble last week and that was without 'his protector' (as someone suggested in another thread), Big Wash, in the game... After that remark, it strikes me that you are probably a Fudge (Packer) fan.

Urlacher Named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Bears 19 Saints 16

One more thing... The Saints also have three defensive starters that are not playing due to injuries.
