With so many teams looking for new coaches, or will probably be at the end of the season (Miami, Cleveland, Minnesota, New Orleans, Washington), who do you think are the top candidates for Head Coaching jobs?
Crennel tops my list for every team but Miami.

I don't know yet. I know most hate him, Wannesteadt could still be interesting in 2005 if he's signed by someone. Before this year, his Dolphins were always solid, and it really wasn't his fault Ricky decided to "retire". I think he'll be an interesting fit somewhere next year.

What has Wannstedt EVER done in his career? He took the Bears, and sucked with them for his entire duration there, and then took a Dolphin team loaded with talent that hadn't missed the playoffs in a decade and has now managed to do just that (miss the playoffs) 3 straight years.

If the Seahawks don't make the playoffs, Holmgren will be available.
Sporting events are family events. If you can't watch your language for 3 hours then stay home.
you need to take washington off that list
joe gibbs leaves when joe gibbs wants to leave
and its only been ONE year
they could do WORSE next year and joe gibbs would still be their coach

So cross him off of NFL teams' lists (thank the football Gods)!
Crennel has to be 1a.
Brad Childress 1b. (Philly OC)
Donnie Henderson should get a look (NYJ DC)
Anyone hear Marv Levy on Rome a week or so ago promoting his book... saying if the right situation presented itself, he'd come back at age 80... He circled the wagons when Rome brought up Cleveland?! Interesting.

If Holmgren gets fired, I like him a lot. Minnesota is unlikely (don't need QB help, used to coach GB), but a lot fo other teams (I see him going to the Ravens if Billick doesn't get resigned or the Dolphins).
