The Hawks D will probably do no better than the low end of the middle of the pack. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cowboy D isn’t better. Tuna always has sound Ds, though his work is cut out for him.

I think it really depends on how your score DEF in your league. If it's just TO's and TD's, then really almost any DEF can be great year to year. That said, I think the Seattle D could be top 10 in FANTASY terms b/c of the additions of Trufant, Hand, Okefor, and Godfrey, plus having Rhodes' defensive scheme, plus their 31st ranked schedule. They are at this point a borderline last round pick though.

Look out for the Vikings D! Kevin Williams and EJ Henderson are big additions. Claiborne and Biekert give them a solid LB corps.

Okay, they'll still suck, but they won't suck as bad. Maybe they could be a back-up D in a 14 team league, which isn't saying too much.

I like Atlanta's defense to have a surprisingly strong year. Phillips is doing a great job there.
