I doubt it. The media has been drooling over this kid forever. I think Clayton is the better ROY candidate, but Ben will get it because he's a rookie QB.

Early in the season maybe. I dunno about the last... 10 games or so.

And why are you portisfan24, why not 26 like his uniform number?

24 is my favourite number. If I had known I was going to stick around here, I would have put much more thought into my name. but oh well.

I dont see how roy is a bust though. Sure he hasnt played great lately, but if you look back on his season he put up some good numbers, much better then where he was drafted would suggest.

Roy is not a bust, and it is not fair to label him that. The problem has been the lack of a running game which is finally getting fixed the last couple games....and getting consistent play from his QB. Harrington is awful. I have never seen a QB with so many games without 100+yds passing. That right there alone, makes it tough for Roy to put up numbers.

Rogers coming back next year will help tremendously. I wouldn't be too surprised to see McMahon get the job, or them make a run for a QB in the draft next year. Joey just is not getting the job done. They could have beat Green Bay if he makes a few throws. Instead he was underthrowing guys and bounce passing some into the WR's hands.

Roy has a lot of talent, and I would expect good things from him in the future.

i believe what you all say but its just that i havent seen many lions games. the only time i saw him play was the thanksgiving game where he dropped 2 or 3 passes in the red zone and left a nasty taste in my mouth. i just picked up lee evans from waviers though. this is my first time doing FF, i had a horrible draft.

Roy Williams suffers from what is known as Harringtontitus. Harringtontitus is when your QB really sucks and couldnt connect on a pass if his life depended on it. BEn will win ROY cause of his record, but Clayton is better player now and much better fantasy player. I picked Clyaton up in week 2 thanks to Yahoo Sports recommondations and have been pleased with his play although I benched him this week its ok cuz i have Drew Bennett!!

I have Williams on my fantasy roster and I was getting a little tired of his non-production but I didn't know why until I watched the last Lions game. There are just no plays for him expect for the deep ball which Harrington cannot throw. It's unfortunate that Harrington is not living up to his potential because he could really hurt R. Williams and C. Rogers next year.
