I want to dedicate a post to Darrell Jackson...

Postby warrick95 » Mon Dec 13, 2004 2:01 am

Not for helping me in fantasy, but for having the courage to go out today and perform like a true football player. He went to be at his dying father's side over the weekend...and flew back to rejoin the team Saturday night. Sunday morning, his father passed away.

I wanted to praise D-Jax for his efforts as both a football player, playing a big part for his team's victory (not letting his teammates down) and more importantly, for being a great human being. ;-D

My thoughts and condolences are with Jackson and his family for their loss.
"The son of Bobby Bowden once again proved he's as predictable as a Julia Roberts' movie.

And upon further review, just as sappy, too."

Amen. D-Jax showed a lot of courage today and performed like a champion.

Hear, hear. Let there be more Darrell Jacksons in the athletic world and a few less Ron Artest and Barry Bonds types.

Good show, Darrell.
When will the Giants win the SuperBowl again?
Please Lord, let it be this year.

Amen, my prayers go out to him and his family. He turned in a very Favre-like performance this Sunday. ;-D

It's the Favre Factor.

I'm going to have to stop watching less weather reports and more obituaries for the fantasy skinny.

Good post, Warrick. Thank you so much D-Jax, you played like a true warrior in the face of adversity. And also helped my fantasy team :-)
