Calling All Stat Pros Who Saw The 4th Quarter Last Night

Washington ball, 4th quarter, 7:19 to play, 2nd & 4 @ the Washington 39. Ramsey was sacked by Hugh Douglas and a flag was thrown b/c Douglas was called for a tripping penalty, 10 yards. He only got the sack b/c he tripped him. Im seeing in the stat line that the sack was still awarded...is this correct? Obviously Im going against the Eagles D this week and this is 2 points in a very tight game coming down to tonight....Larry Johnson for him and Derrick Mason for me. I have a 3 point lead as of now. Do they ever go back and change this sort of thing? Is it correct to award a sack here? Any and all comments are appreciated. PS - One of the announcers even said that the penalty wipes out the sack....thanks

the sack doesnt count, just like if theres an offensive holding call that play doesnt count. i would talk to your commisioner or yahoo or whoever handles your points about that sack.

No it should not count and yes yahoo and sportsline sometimes revise thier scoring.

It will prob be revised when the week is finished tonight. There have a been a couple of reductions in our league on defenses this year whenever all the games were finalized
