Spent a few minutes looking back at our 2004 predictions forum.

Thought there were a number of interesting things in there. One thread, talking about each person's biggest, boldest prediction for the year was very interesting, I thought.

Ah yes ... I remember these. And also remember this gem courtesy of a poster who will not be named. What a classic ...

New bold prediction:
The Great Gambinini and Flux will smack heads as both lunge towards Canadian_Cheesehead's tiny dong. Like moths to a flame; these two pillow biters are drawn to the wriggled snake of the wannabe fantasy player. Fortunatley TGG and Flux will remain in comas for the rest of the season so we don't have to hear anymore of their verbal diarrhea on these boards.

Best prediction in 12 pages:

Its a Pennsylvania Super Bowl. Maddox gets hurt half way through the season and Big Ben comes in and leads the Steelers to the Super Bowl. Big Ben is MVP of the Super Bowl as the Steelers go on to win 27-21

Antonio Gates will outscore Jeremy Shockey in fantasy points.

Of course, when you have over 100 different outlandish predictions, some are bound to be true.
