Volek loves Bennett...he's locked in on him. I don't know if they worked a lot with each other in practice or something (both on the 2nd team?), but that's something that happens a LOT when the 2nd string QB starts...they still trust the WR they've already built a rapport with in the past.

It was the same in Cincinnati with Carson Palmer earlier this year. He looked for TJ Houshmandzadeh, partly because CJ was getting glued by opposing defenses, but also because he was more comfortable with Housh after working with him all last year. As the season's gone on, though, Carson's beginning to really feel comfortable with Chad, as well.

And he's probably not done yet. With the way these two defenses are playing today, he's going to need a couple more for a win.

As a Mason owner down the stretch, I better hope
A) McNair comes back
B) Oppossing D's start keying in to stop Bennett
C) Bennett keels over and dies, leaving his last wish "Throw to Mason 20 times a game"

'Twas a fun year, fellas.

Yes I agree, payback for all those years of McNair to D Mase.

Man Bennett is the second coming of Randy Moss.

Volek to Bennett >> Moss to Wiggins

ok lets see, I had a 50 pt lead (.5 pts per reception) coming into this game. I have Mason, my opponent has Bennett, winner goes to the playoffs, loser is out. I thought I had this in the bad, now Im only up 8 pts w/ 1 and a half quarters to go.

Ive already pulled out the bourbon :~(

I was down 21 and looked like I'd have to settle for 3rd place in the regular season standings. Then my boy Drew came along and posts 40 points in the first 3 quarters and wins me 1st place. Drew, you are a sexy guy.

Everytime I bench Bennett, he blows up. When I start him, he just blows.
