I bet like 15 of Mannings TDs are from inside the 5.

Yeah moving down the field and getting field position is worthless.

It is if you don't score. Getting to the redzone and coming away with nothing even if you brought it to the 1 yard line would be like loading the bases with no outs and not scoring a single run.

By the way, Manning has nearly marched the Colts for 4000 of their yards. He could make it work with a lesser RB.

im sure peyton would still be great without edge, but he definatley benefits from him being there. defenses respect edge, as well as the passing game, which spreads the D. if they had a weak RB, they wouldnt leave anyone at the line and they would drop back on the recievers constantly. edge keeps them somewhat honest. that offense all depends on each other..edge, peyton, harrison, stokely, wayne and the TE's all produce and keep the D's guessing. they all help each other. im sure peyton "could make it work" without edge, but he would definatley have a harder time doing it that way. i guess we will find out if they dont resign edge this year

You can't have ........many running td's when your qb has nearly fifty passing tds ...something has to give...

Or you could say Manning has gotten hosed on 8 TDs that he would have thrown if he didn't have to let Edge run one in once in a while.

How would have never guessed that?? Well, C-Mart and Shaun Alexander had a better chance, but Edgerrin James is an elite rusher who deserves this position (in case you didn't know).

I am not saying he sucks or something...I just would have guessed someone else that is in a more traditional running offense.

Interestingly Dungey's pick for MVP this year on his team was James not Manning.

If Affleck himself said it I may have different thoughts, but in the movie "Boiler Room" the line fits in the perfect position and is delivered with enough swagger to make it laughable. Just for the record, I have very little money.
