nervous McNabb owner

Postby freewaydog3 » Thu Dec 16, 2004 2:17 am

im feeling a little nervous that if the eagles earn home field advantage that McNabb might get a little rest on the bench.
which would not help my team out very much being thats why i made it to the playoffs in the first place.
does anyone having any insight or opinions on this?

Yes, you have reason to be nervous.

If the Eagles clinch this week, Mcnabb will see some decent time on the bench.

Pick up Volek or Palmer now.

doubt he is still avail unless he is in an 8 man league. anyways, yeah you have to prepare for that to happen if they clinch. make sure you have a good backup..check matchups for your playoffs weeks and pick accordingly.

What do the Eagles need to happen this week to clinch?

One guy in our league owns both McNabb and Westbrook and is dominating. Any limit on these two woud be great.

they need either a win or an atlanta loss. they can lose and still clinch if atlanta loses.

I think the mcnabb owner might be alright AS IT PERTAINS to mcnabb. westbrook is hitting the pine. They will not go into the playoffs with him hurt again.

However, this week is the cowboys, next is the Rams on monday night. Reid isn't too much of a let off the gas pedal type guy. After all, if they hit the pine now, it will be about a month before they play in a game situation again. I think they play the cowboys straight, and play them until they get decently ahead of the rams.

I wouldn't imagine they play against the bengals. completing a conference sweep is a nice goal to play for.

I would really, really doubt westbrook plays meaningful time after sunday. they baby him as it is...

I'm thinking that if Carolina beats Atlanta you will see McNabb for the 1st half. Owens will not play and Westbrook will have limited touches. Reid likes to run it up, but I think he is scared shitless of injuries right now and will protect his stars. God forbid he would have to go into the playoffs without any 1 of the three.

It's likely they will be up on Dallas by two scores at halftime anyway....

he does not "run it up" he puts teams away, there is a difference. And if you think about it, he continues to pass not to run it up, but to save westbrook from draining the clock.

I highly doubt owens sits, considering what rides on his 15th td catch, reid won't freeze him like that.

That would kick ass. I'm going against McNabb and Westbrook this week
