Where does Ahman fit in???!!!

With Davenport coming on strong where does Ahman now rank amongst the other fantasy rbs? Is he still as good as edge, ja lewis, and fragile freddy or is he a tier lower with trung and eddie george

Coming on strong and actually taking over the job are completely different. Ahman is still the man in GB, and will be until he loses the job or gets hurt. Until that point he is still ahead of Edge, Lewis, and Taylor,George, and Canidate in my book.

I agree. I think he's a good 1st tier RB and an excellent 2nd tier.

Agreed...if he can stay on the field he will be the man in Green Bay. I have Edge, Lewis, Tiki and Ahman all bunched up right now with Taylor, Dillon, Davis,George, Martin, W. Green and Garner in the next group

I'd put him in the Edge/Taylor/Lewis tier. He shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath with Canidate.

What everyone seems too be forgetting is that the Green Bay offensive line was decimated by injuries last season. If Green and the offensive line are able too avoid the injury bug for the most part this season.....Green will have a monster year!

I'd take Edge over Ahman in a heartbeat. I don't see any logic in not doing so, either...and I'm staying away from Fraud Taylor this year - sure he miraculously managed to stay healthy last season, but his stats weren't great. Even if he gets all the goal line carries this year with Mack gone, and stays 100% healthy (a big "if"), I don't see him being a good #1 RB...

Ahman should be behind Edge but infront of teh rest of the 2nd Tier guys. He is a late 1st round/ early 2nd round pick

Hmmmmm.....where did you get that idea? I suggest you go back and look at the stats from the last few years! Ahman got that reputation when he was in Seattle and it still follows him. That numbers tell a different story though!
