The secondary apparently looks to be in great shape. Even with Damien injured, the additions of Hamlin and Trufant are paying off already. I caught the SD/SEA game last saturday and Trufant was in WR's hips the whole game. As well, Hamlin looks to LOVE to hit, which I don't think I've seen a Seattle safety do in quite a long ass time.
Seattle's D overall looked great against whatever team SD started. I wasn't taking a great deal of interest considering LDT didn't play. Hard to make grades on a Run D ya know.
The offensive starters weren't in long at all. However, Hasselbeck appeared to be picking up right where he left off last season. he was 8 for 11 for 70+ yards. He completed passes to virtually every part fo the field: out to the flat, over the middle, slant, out routes. He hit Jackson, Engram, Strong, Alexander, and Stevens, so he was spreading the ball around as well. The only thing he didnt flash was a long ball, which was quite alright. He moved the chains at will.
Alexander was running with authority. In his handful of carries he never danced around the Oline once. This is great news.
Robinson dropped both of his passes I believe. Whatever. He's still a stud.
Maurice Morris looked absolutely fantastic. If Alexander ever goes down, MoMo will surely be an adequate fantasy back for whomever grabs him.
