Alstott back to vulturing carries near the goal line?

Postby Weatherman » Sat Dec 18, 2004 4:54 pm

In trying to determine who to start/bench on my roster (in other forum, http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/foru ... p?t=125742 ...

My concern is in everyone's faith that Pittman will have a big week. I agree that he'll get the yards against the Saints...but will he get the TD opportunities?

Any thoughts? Should I be nervous about Allstott's presence?

Pittman did carry goalline against Atlanta. I am not sure of the past games, but you can check Play by Plays and see what happened.

That being said, I would start Pittman with confidence, especially in a 25/10 yardage league. He will easily rack up 100+ total yards as a conservative estimate...I'd imagine 150+. I think he will score at least one TD, whether that's from short or longer range. The Saints' Defense is beyond horrific.

And upon further review, just as sappy, too."

If you are worried about Alstott, you shouldn't be. He's not much of a threat since Pittman is more than capable of carrying the load from the goal line.

alstott did get a td that was called back due to a late penalty in one of the recent games so don't think he won't vulture a td.
