Weather today...

Postby The Great Gambini » Sun Dec 19, 2004 9:50 am

There's some bad weather just about everywhere, but I'm focused on Cleveland, where there's a 70% chance of snow.
How does this impact the values of Brees, LT, Gates, or anyone else involved?
(I'm sure I'm not the only one relying on Brees today in their fantasy playoffs!)

Yeah I was planning on playing Brees today and getting a big game until I read the weather report. I think the snow will really affect the passing game. I decided to sit him and play Kerry Collins.

Sunshine boyz in the snow, sounds like a recipe for disaster. The only saving grace is that the Browns look to have mailed it in three weeks ago. They have given up 137 points in that time. 8-o
Brees did play at Purdue where the weather can suck, so he shouldn't be affected that much. LT is a rock, no worries there. Gates??? Good luck GG

Ohh, what about Kaeding? He's struggled lately...I'm thinking of picking up someone like Josh Brown or Lawrence Tynes?

I'm thinking of benching Kaeding too. I was thinking of Jay Taylor for TB. Saints give up the most points in the league to kickers and I think he has had 3 fgs in each game the last 2 weeks

True, Brees did play in West Lafayette, IN...but there weather is rarely this bad during the college season of September through November. Something tells, me Brees hasn't played in weather as bad as he'll witness today.

LT may be a rock...but the football may also feel like a rock today. Current Cleveland temperature is 13° and falling. And into that a Northwest wind of 20-30mph this afternoon and you've got below zero wind chills. It won't be a picnic for any player on offense.
