Week 15: What do you need on MNF?

Postby The Great Gambini » Mon Dec 20, 2004 10:10 am

I'm sure this will be a pretty intense thread, as most are in their playoffs.
I personally am in the final week of the regular season (week 17 super bowl, yuck) and am up 3. I have Dillon and he has Bruschi.
To make the playoffs, I need to win and need one guy to lose...he's down 15.5 with only Rodney Harrison left to play (1pt tackle, 3pts sack.int.fum) (15ru/rec=1pt, TD=6)

'Twas a fun year, fellas.

I am down 4.5 points... I need Adam Vinatieri to score 5 points... that's a field goal and 2 extra points...

of course, we wouldn't be having this conversation if I would've done what I should have and started Rudi Johnson over Reuben Droughns. Honestly, I will hunt Mike Shanahan down and gut him if Vinatieri doesn't come through for me tonight.

up by 10 points.
I need Dillon to not have an explosive game, and i need NE's defense to have a shutout or continute the Dolphin's streak of interception TDs ;-D

Nothing! I still have Dillon and McMike to play and I've already won. MNF in peace for me! ;-D

Adam Vinatieri to get 3 points....one FG and a TD will seal the deal and advance me to the finals.

I need Tom Brady, David Patten, and Teddy Bruschi to not score more than 37.06 than Randy McMichael to win in a 50/20 yardage league and guarantee finishing in the money. :-o Had I started Chad Pennington over Jon Kitna, I'd have a comfortable lead of nearly 60...run Dillon and pass to Branch, Patriots! ;-D

Adam V needs to get 11 to make me a happy happy fantasy footballer (10 for tie). I don't think it really matters, since even with a loss I should make the playoffs on tie-breakers, but closing the season with 4 straight wins couldn't be a bad thing!
Best... fantasy advice... EVER. :D

I need Chris Chambers to score 15 points just to tie.. :-t

I shouldn't be in this position in the first place though I should've started kennison over stokley(who got a big fat 0) and volek while he's hot over mcnabb :-°

I need Dillon NOT to get 30 points. Of course, I'd feel better if he tripped coming out of the tunnel.
