Don't try to pick up and play a MNF player on Monday. Doh!

Had what I thought was an easy matchup and left my K slot open since I was hesitant to give up any of my bench guys yet. Fins are playing MNF and Mare was still FA ... I figured that worst case, I could pick him up if the match-up was still close on Monday. Well, the week is much closer than I ever guessed it'd be so, I picked up Mare a few minutes ago. Now, I can't put him in the lineup for this week! Uh-oh. I should be OK with the players I have left, but I screwed this up big time. If lose, I suppose I deserve it.

That happened to one of my friends earlier this year. You have until 11:59 PST or 2:59 EST on Sunday night/Monday morning. I think its a really stupid rule b/c the game hasnt been played yet and the week isnt officially over.

No error. The new acquisition simply isn't visible for current week. If you go to your next week's line-up, he's there, but you can't play him for today's (Monday) game.
