Postby chinch sacs » Wed Aug 13, 2003 11:14 pm

I am looking for another WR, I am going to drop my backup DEF... but who is the better WR?

C. Chambers
Q. Morgan
A. Lelie

I would say Morgan. Righ now he's a starter and should score more than Chambers I would think.

I have Morgan at the end of my 2nd tier WR's right now.

Of the 3 I like Lelie. He is in a high-powered system with a set of pre-Raider receivers (I mean old), and so should be in position to excel. Say what you will about Jake the Snake, he still is a better QB than Couch or Fiddler. I really like Chambers but he hasn’t looked that good so far in camp, from what I hear. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Browns take a step back this year, and two headed QB situations are a recipe for disaster. That could make it hard for Morgan.

i like Lelie too. the guy is too big and too fast to not be used alot. Lelie and Plummer should have a couple of season to get acquainted and do some damage

Lelie will be getting more touches this year, but he'll never completely take all of Ed McCaffrey's downs, because Eddie is one of the best blocking WRs in the league (he's basically like an uber-tight end). In Denver's run-based offense, Eddie is vital for an extra yard or two on runs.
