Manning or Culpepper?

Right now I have Peyton Manning as my starting QB and Favre as my backup. I have the chance to possibly trade Manning for Culpepper. The main reason I'd want to do this is because I also have Marvin Harrison, and don't want to be left with nothing on Colts' bye weeks.

Would this be a good trade to make? Who is better in terms of fantasy value, Manning or Culppepper?

If you can keep Bret Favre then keep Peyton Manning. Favre is a good starter period.

1 week won't make or break your season. If you keep Manning and Harrison, then image how many more points you could get. true you would still benefit from Manning's success, but it is always good to get a bonus.

I would keep Manning, enless he really wants him. Then make him throw in someone... hehe.

pepper over manning. manning will throw for more but with 10 yds per pt for rbs in most leagues culpepper is more valuable.

Will Culpepper's ridiculous interceptions and fumbles wind up costing too many points to the point that Manning is the more valuable QB?

i hope ur not forgetting that manning throws a lot of ints too. he threw 18 last year and 20 year before.

18 INTS to 23. 8 fumbles to 1. Keep Manning and use Favre during the Colts bye week unless you can get Culpepper plus another decent player.

If turnovers are the only reason you're keeping Manning, I would reconsider. C-Pep has made it a focus to reduce turnovers, and the word is that he hasn't thrown a single interception in camp yet. Further, they've gotten rid of the stupd Randy Ratio, so C-Pep won't try to force the ball to Moss any more. That should help his turnover numbers aswell. Just my two cents.

Manning is a safer, more conservative pick, but Culpepper could be huge this season. I believe I personally would do it, especially since you have a safe, solid backup in Favre.

So, if for example I can talk up Culpepper's shortcomings and offer my Manning and Tennessee defense for Culpepper and Miami defense, it would be a good deal?
