Probably a smart move. You don't need them to get some sort of advantage.

Damn, finding kids to play is tough we were only able to field an 8-team competitive league cause we couldn't find enough sensible, knowledgable, dedicated owners from our school.

Yea, the problem with playing with teenagers who are all friends, is that people may to dump/stack their teams. We had one kid in our league who dumped his team (after starting 0-2), becuase he "didn't want to play anymore". We kept trying to convince him just to leave his team alone and not check it, but he kept saying that he didn't want to play so he dropped his team.

And you also need a good commish who isn't afraid to lock someone's team. Even if the other guy is going to be pissed at him.

Overall, school leagues are great becuase they are always active and there is a lot of trash talk. But they can be too much of a hassle unless you take a lot of time to sort out the members.

Myself and knowledgeable buddy went in a league with a bunch of less knowledgeable people this year and were killed by injuries (Boldin, Brown, Randy Moss, Ahman Green, Michael Bennett etc.) and kids that I know way more about football then were trash talking me, got on my damn nerves. Next year I'm only playing in my dynasty money league.

I guess some people don't want young people in their league. I was at the Baseball Cafe, I read a post about a keeper league on Yahoo and it said ''I don't want anybody under the age of 18 because this is a mature league.'' Hope most people don't view us younger players as not mature enough to handle a keeper league. And what really bummed me is that I was thinking about joining, but then I saw the ''nobody under 18'' thing and I just left instantly.
