He'll truly be missed. I remember him from his Tennessee Vol and Memphis Showboat days. One of the greatest ever to play the game. :,-(

After watching the section on him on SportsCenter this morning, he seems like a great player, and a great guy.

Definitlely a great player, and an even better human being. This guy needs to get on the ballot to the hall A.S.A.P and needs to be inducted. R.I.P. Reggie.

Watched him play, heard him preach - he walked the talk! Did both with passion and excellence. A great football player and a man of God. You know he was good when as a Viking fan I can feel this way about a former Packer! Left an impact for the good far beyond football.

BTW - One example of his impact is former Viking Cris Carter. It was Reggie White who worked with Cris to get his life turned around and off drugs. This reinforces a question I have had for the last few years about the Packers. Why hasn't his jersey been retired already? They better get it done now for crying out loud! Cris Carter's for the Vikings is already retired and he just left the NFL two years ago!

His jersey was retired, less than one year after he retired.
Ex-Green Bay Packer Reggie White gives the thumbs-up to a sellout crowd as the Packers retired his number 92 during a halftime ceremony at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI. White, who retired last season, is the fifth player to have his jersey retired by the team. Selected to the Pro Bowl a record 13 consecutive times from 1986-98, White was the NFL's defensive player of the year in 1987 and 1998, and is football's career sacks leader with 192 1/2 and Green Bay's career sacks leader with 68 1/2. The ordained minister joined the Packers in 1993 and helped lead the team to its Super Bowl win in January 1997.

He'll forever be remembered on the wall of fame at Lambeau.

R.I.P Reggie

One of my favorite defensive players ever. No one looked like they enjoyed the game more than him. A huge loss to the football community at such a young age. :,-(
