You can't really bench Brooks yet, he screws up a lot but made some big throws today. And as long as their special teams keeps playing on the level they are now we can beat the Panthers next week. Although I don't care whether we make the playoffs or not: Haslett has got to go.

Knowing Tom Benson you'll get the cheapest coaching option out there.

I hope the Saints make the playoffs, they would be the easiest game for the Packers.

Briefly heard the ESPN radio guys talking about this.

Does anyone know if any coaches who made the playoffs were ever fired?

I know Buddy Ryan was fired after 3 straight playoff loses. I'm sure their must be a few mores guys.

This thread is hilarious, no way the Saints beat the Panthers. I would love to see Carolina make it in and eliminate Philly again.

Who says if the Panthers get in, they even play the Eagles. They have to go to GB first and beat Favre at home in a playoff game. Not an easy task. The Panthers seem to be the flavor of the month. Name me 1 team they have beat that is any good. Panther will beat the saints but then they'll get destroyed in the 1st round.

How about Steve Mariucci? Didn't the 49ers fire him after taking them to the play-offs for the 2nd time in a row? Not sure, but I think it was something like that.
