RIDERS OF THE STORM QB Vick RB Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte, Lesean McCoy WR Brandon Marshall, Kenny Britt TE ? DEF Flavor of the Week K ?
Didn't expect to be posting in a thread like this after how Saturday went, but thanks to Andy Reid not wanting to risk Westbrook getting hurt, I held on for the Super Bowl victory to keep my fantasy record intact - 10 leagues over the past two-plus years (3 hockey, 4 baseball, 3 football), 10 league titles. This might have been the sweetest, not only because of the unexpected triumph this week, but a horrible draft (spent too much time concentrating on the baseball stretch drive and playoffs) left me with a really weak team. I had to dig out of an 0-4 hole, winning 8 of 10 the rest of the way to claim the final playoff spot (with a win in the final week), then upset the top seed (although I actually had the highest point total in the league despite finishing fourth).
My team (point total)

QB - Collins (15.43)
WR - Harrison* (17.1)

WR/RB - L. Johnson (28.2)
K - Vinatieri* (11.0)
DEF - Wash (15.34)

This had to be my worst week all year in terms of decisions on who to start and bench, leaving big days from Droughns, Brady and Griese and solid efforts from Lelei and Housh on the bench while Volek, Bennett and Pittman nearly did me in. My opponent didn't leave many points on his bench, but Westbrook not playing denied him the title. Thanks to all you Cafe members that provided so much help and advise this year, hopefully my efforts in return helped some of you as well. Good luck to everyone still playing and Happy Holidays to all (mine just got a bit more jolly as these winnings will help pay off at least one credit card bill).
