Problem with Michael Pittman

Postby RIP HB » Fri Aug 15, 2003 2:27 pm

Hey guys.
The other day, my league did our draft and towards the end, I made a boneheaded move and drafted Pittman, not knowing of his legal problems.
So right now, I have to decide if I should keep him and risk the possibility that he may go to jail & face nfl suspension or I can drop him and pick up a free agent with less talent.
What should I do with this guy in your opinions.
Thanks.
RIP HB

I also saw he was injuried. As for the severity of his injury I have no idea. Drop him for a better rb or if one is not available consider picking up Thomas Jones he may start if Pittman has to go to the ankle grabbing house.

if u drafted him and there is no one available on waivers u might as well keep him and drop him if and when he goes to jail or whatever might happen to him

I'd keep him. Until he goes to jail (not a given) he remains the starter and has more value than Jones or some other scrub. Not alot more, but more.
The meek ain't gonna inherit $#!%....'cuz I'll TAKE IT!

I've herd on TV than him and his wife are getting along now in public. This bids well for his fantasy value. If she's on his side I doubt the DA will push for jail time. I haven't seen his name on any injury reports either. I didn't know he was banned up at all.
