What was your video game of choice growing up?

For me it was





God I don't know how many quarters I dumped into that machine.

For me it was definate Street Fighter 2.




Between baseball cards and this game I was always broke as a kid. At least I still have the cards


Console wise it had to was between Zelda, Contra, Excitebike, Super TecmoBowl, and Blades of Steel. If I had to pick, then probably Zelda.

That doesn't look like Double Dragon on the screen...

I loved John Elway's Football... there was a glitch on the bootleg pass play and if you kept the ball as the QB (rather than passing as you were supposed to) you would all of a sudden become 3 or 4 times the speed of everyone else as soon as you crossed the line of scrimmage... We used to literally run circles around the other team

Plus all of the cheesy baseball games were great (my friends and I had a big obsession with RBI baseball a few years back when someone found an old NES)...

those are Gradius III and the Original Madden Football; they were my two favorite games for the SNES. In fact as far as I'm aware no one has ever gotten to the final level in Gradius III. I remember getting close but was unable to beat the boss in the second to last level or something. Hehe I sound like such a video game dork.
