homerism? he threw for more yards than manning ran for more yards... had 39 tds... 2nd in almost every category... ???

yeah, i think the whole forum will agree with you that just minnesota people think he's good...

yep... come on forum... start talking about how us minnesota people overrate mister duante and that he's not a very good qb... if anything we get down on him quicker than anyone else...

150 yards passing 2 INTs 25 yards rushing for a TD

thats not a spectacular game by any means, defending him in this game is nothing but homerism

you stated there was homerism over cpepp and then suggested people were defending his performance in this game

i'm just not a fan of people making untrue or bias statements with no backing...

not freaking out... just don't understand why you took the shot at vikings fans being homers...

blah blah... like it matters... it doesn't change the fact cpepp is having a horrible game...

at least we are getting a few breaks in the 2nd half... ;)

I've been watching the game, and while I think the Culpepper homerism is overly rampant on this board, I don't think you can possibly blame Culpepper for this game...their O-Line is playing terrible. I mean they're getting to him quickly, even with a RB back to defend as well.

That being said, it's nice to see the Vikings get the crap beat out of them even though I really hate the Eagles just as much.

You must not have been here all week. The homerism that aww is referring to is the countless posts during the week in the Fantasy Football Talk forum talking about the greatness of Culpepper and how he was a god.
