In that situation, you just don't go for it. They needed every point they could get. So live with it.

FG was the right call. Problem for the Colts is they didn't come out agressive to start the game. They played right into the Pats hands by calling "snow game" plays. I know that Pats secondary was keeping the Colts receivers in front of them and covered most of the time but Manning had to have had more opportunities to attack deep. Manning executed pretty well and dropped balls were a big problem but not playing vertically killed them.

FG was the right thing to do. Indy knew that their offense going into the second half was doing better than the Pat's offense, and not scoring the TD would have been a lot of bad news for them.

Maybe at the 1- line going for it would be acceptable, but that isn't quite where they were.

I think the FG was definitely the right call..

I was scared of another McNabb decision before the half against the Vikes. Manning at least made the right decision there and the team as a result got a FG instead of nothing.
