Rumors have been flying around about the Vikings getting a new owner. Fowler is reportedly looking to form a group that would pay McCombs 500-550 mil for the team. Other possible players are Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor and local car dealer Denny Hecker.

I know it gets redundant in Minnesota, but is anyone else drooling at this?

I've heard a bit of this too. Hecker is in the group with Fowler. There's like 5-6 big whigs with lots of cash trying to go in on the team with Fowler. I'm hoping Taylor buys the team. He actually wants to put a winner on the field and would likely spend some money on free agents.
