I still don't get these rumors of Moss being dealt. He is that team.
As far as fantasy values go for Moss + C-Pepp (assuming any deals go down), I'd still say that Moss is the top WR. Look at the numbers he posted with Gus Frerotte as his QB last season - he's not the guy you want behind center, but Moss still managed. At worst, he's the second best WR behind Terrell Owens. I don't care who is QB is - Culpepper, Peyton Manning, Kyle Boller, Kerry Collins, Eli Manning, whoever - it doesn't matter - he's still the best.
Daunte Culpepper's ranking would slip a spot... maybe two (or more, I dunno). He proved that he can still survive without Moss, but I don't think he was among the elite during those weeks.

I think it was really dumb of the Vikings front office to confirm this, its not as easy to sell your team to a prospective buyer when there is talk of the most talented WR in the history of the game being traded.

This could actually be a good thing...
Maybe this will discourage Reggie Fowler, or anyone else, from buying the team and relocating them. Maybe Red McCombs will sell lower, allowing Glen Taylor to step in and become owner. Lotta maybes, but I think it might not be that bad of a thing.
If it all comes together.....

Moss on the Chiefs would be a lot of fun to watch. Also, I've been able to snag Trent Green very late in my fantasy drafts the past 2 seasons, so this would make him even sweeter.

I think the Chiefs would be very hard pressed to find the "impact defensive player" the Vikings seek anywhere on their roster

God that would be great........ Like said before to bad we have nothing remotley close to a defensive player.
Arrrgghhhhh..... this is killing me. I don't even want to think of the Vikes without Moss... Culpepper to Burleson works but it just doesn't have the magic of Culpepper to Moss. Please someone wake me up and tell me this is just a bad dream!
cooleyhigh, I was thinking the same thing. Best thing they could do is say, here's a first round pick, go draft yourselves and impact player.
I would love to see Burleson be the No. 1 next year. What a freaking steal that guy would be in fantasy drafts. He'd almost certainly be vaulted into a top 10 WR.
