field audio would be great becasue you can hear the coaches deciding what plays to do and stuff.

Yeah, that would be great. It would've sounded something like this:
Cowher on 2nd and 9: Let's run Bettis up the middle.
Belachik on thier first touch: Let's f*** with 'em and run a reverse.
The coaches would never agree to it.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

So true. Things have gotten so bad that even Patrick sounds like a fool when he converses with McGuire and Theismann. All three need to go, but who would replace them? Maybe they could get Marv Albert!
The ESPN announcers do come off as stupid, but there's a humor in that. I guess because I don't need announcers to tell me what's going on, all I can do is laugh at them and enjoy it.
Some line they used last season saying how the ball looked like a "fluttering duck traversing the air" (or something like that) had me and some of my friends cracking up for a long time.

YES, I hate these guys. The Sunday night guys are terrible, I can't stand it. Al and John aren't as bad but Id prefer the CBS or FOX guys over them anyday. The statements they make are many times arrogant or unnecessary, as is a lot of ESPN.

Theismann and Maguire are dumbasses. Every single play is the greatest play ever and Maguire thinks he's mister "I can tell if it's a first down before they bring the sticks out". Mike Patrick isn't bad though.

I agree, Aikman is the man. And Collinsworth at least is an interesting perspective - I think I like him better in the booth than I did on the pregame show.
