Personally, I think he would still be a successful short down back....maybe 150 touches a year....he will not restructure his contract again at Pitt....so if the bus goes round and round ....it won't be traveling in Pittsburgh...

I thought Bettis was well out of gas before this season, and I remained a critic for awhile, but I think the Bus has the determination to come back for another year and be sucessful. I doubt he'll have a feature role, but he could see significant time or at least provide a short yardage/goal line threat.

The Bus should keep playing as long as he has the drive, which he demonstrated he did this past season. He's not here to pad his stats, he's here to win, unlike another certain RB who is out there...
