I was driving to work and I was listening to 610 which is the local station, and they were playing a clip from Steve Smith were he says "Freddie Mitchell can't hold my jock and how much better he was then him." He also said something like I had half the catches he had all year in one game, and that he was a dissapointment. Then said something like yea he got 4th and 26 then the next week when we played him he had like 2 catches. He went on and on. I can't find a link, but the radio guy said it was from sportingnews t.v. which I never heard of.

I'm not sure why Smith would come out and say it but it's how I've felt about the guy since that 4th and 26 play.

Those were some great plays he made in the playoffs this and last year, but the way he carries himself you would think he's putting up Rice like numbers.

I roll my eyes everytime I see him do his belt gesture making a regular catch any other receiver thinks nothing of.

But to say he's "garbage" was a bit much and uncalled for.

I'm surprised he didn't attack his sense of style when it comes to clothes.

I was looking and have still found nothing to why he would say this stuff. I know Freddie has a big mouth, but Freddie would have done something pretty serious to warrant that.

I truly believe if Freddie had the balls thrown to him he could do the same things that Steve Smith does. It's not like he gets a ton of chances, but when he does he delivers like Fed EX.

My opinion having watched Pinkston his entire career is that any WR not getting the ball thrown his way because Pinkston is getting the ball has a right to complain. Koren Robinson on his worst day has better hands, not to mention Pinkston's cowardly lack fo route running, etc.

Yeah, Freddie complains, but both him and the fans of the Eagles would be happier if he was the #2. It wouldn't be that hard to outproduce Pinkston anyway, and he's come through when it matters.
