Yeah, the Broncos thought the Colts' WR's were a bunch of sissies too, and look what happened to them. Sissy or no sissy, the Colts' offense this season was arguably the best EVER.
I think the Colts would have had a much better chance in that game if they would have used a run-first approach like they did in Week 1 of the season.
As far as the Pittsburgh game goes, you can't blame Roethlisberger for the way Tom Brady methodically picked that defense apart. You can't blame Roethlisberger for the Steelers allowing Deion Branch to go deep early in the game.
You're right, it sounds like a bunch of excuses.
Besides, while we're playing the "who have you beat?" game, who has Philly beat? An 8-8 Minnesota team at home? An 11-5 Atlanta team that only played two teams all year with winning records (at home)?
The Eagles were practically handed a ticket to the Super Bowl with how weak the NFC was this year. God, is February 6th here yet?
