This story really doesn't sounds farfetched. It's either fake, or a tabloid(oh wait, they are the same thing). Can I see a link?

I totally believe it. I could picture him in Mexico, feasting on a great dinner and Coronas, all while being sad after a horrific loss to the *cough* pats *cough*.

Interesting responses. I posted it for that very reason. I'm actually trying to find the link (it was posted in another forum) but if you search for peyton manning and cabo you'll see that he's down there all week for Sammy Hagar's birthday. Whether this story is exactly true is certainly a question but it seems to fit. Nothing world-changing either way.

Shrimp, lobster, AND Filet mignon?

Looks like Peyton may come into camp overweight, I'm downgrading him on my cheatsheet.

Yeah I think this shows that hes not selfish and concieted. Think about it he had the best QB campaign ever..........And he apparently is miserable.

At Edith's restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the other night, Manning "looked totally dejected and had a puss on his face of 'Don't bother me,' " a spy reports. Peyton drank Coronas and his wife, Ashley, sipped margaritas. "Everyone knew who he was, including the Mexican waitstaff . . . He kept telling the waiters, 'This week I am known as Javier Lopez.' " Manning devoured a platter of shrimp, lobster tail and filet mignon, but "he was avoiding all eye contact with everyone else in the restaurant and stared out into space a lot," said our witness. "At one point, his wife asked him if he was listening to her and when he did not respond, she grabbed his hand and asked him again and he said despondently, 'No, I was thinking about football.' And when it came time to pay the bill, the wife said she would put it on her credit card since it is the same account, and he said, 'Believe me, I know.

Just to add on here: The 'believe me, I know' seems a bit far fetched...I could see him saying I was thinking about football though....

Funny stuff though anyways-even if there is no link for it.
