IM not too familiar with McCarthy, but grabing the Aints OC seems like a bit of a reach here. Could someone tell me something good that may come of this for the 9ers?

He's had some good years mainly coaching QBs: Montana in KC and Favre in GB, before coming to the Saints. He's supposed to be of the Bill Walsh school of offense and said that he wants to get back to the old West Coast offense ways. We'll see what happens. He has been well thought of from what I've read about him.

I think change is something they needed, I just think they probably could've waited a little longer and gotten someone a little better.
