Najeh Davenports value if he leaves GB

I dont see Najeh as a top free agent this year, there are way too many options for Rbs this year. I just dont see the guy as a every down back. Personally i would rather have Green, and the Pack still have Fisher so i see why they wouldnt match any outrageous offer.

Davenport could possibly be a starter for some team w/o a talented RB, but fantasy-wise, I wouldn't see him being a #1 or #2 guy beccause a run-first team would defientely not pick hm unless they were really stupid. IMO he hasn't shown his full potntial, which is bad because some teams don't actually know how he is as a RB. He should stay with GB.

I would hate to see Najeh leave, I would love to see him replacing Ahman when Ahman's turn is done as our starter. If I was a team right now I would rather have him then a guy like Travis Henry. Henry isn't really a power back who can run guys over and be used on the goalline where you can do those things with Najeh.

i see him as being at the bottom of the group of FA backs...and dont forget to add rudi johnson and lamont jordan to that list of possible FA's. there is just way too much talent floating around this year for him to make a bid as a starter somewhere IMO.

Maybe when it comes to taking a dump. He's got proven ability there.

i've watched najeh a bit and it seems to me hes a big guy that can make big plays, and also returns punts. he definatly could make an impact, but its gonna take a long time (if ever) and positive circumstances for him to become a alexander-level player

It would be wise for Green Bay to hold on to Najeh. I don't think its too big of a stretch to say that Najeh is as talented as SA, some have said he'd be one of the league's top backs if he wasn't in Ahman's shadow. There seems to be an overload of possible RB starters this year via free agency, draft, and trades. Right now its too hard to see if Davenport will seperate himself enough from the rest of the pack to get a starting spot.

Just wait and see, Ahman's contract is up in a year. If Najeh sees a starting job anywhere, he will see nothing but green ahead of him.
