sounds good. Do we really need a 4 round rookie draft though? Thats 48 rookies.

I'm good with the roster change. But yeah, a four round rookie draft will get pretty difficult, even for serious NCAA football fans. We should just stick with 3.

I agree with Joshy, I really don't think there will be 4 rounds worth of rookies worthwhile drafting. Increase of the NFL roster is fine by me ;-D

I agree with Joshy and Mustangs. I'm all for increasing the roster size but 4 rounds in the rookie draft seems to be a bit much.

I know a 4 round rookie draft is manageable, but I agree with you guys that it is probably pushing it. We'll keep it to a 17 round normal draft and 3 round rookie draft.

That's six votes YES, zero votes NO

That pretty much clinches it, but I still want to hear the other members's opinions.

Sure. Fine with me. 17 rounds NFL, 3 rounds rookies.

is 3 rounds fair though? The people picking first will get 2 rounds at the top, while the people picking last will only have 1.

Yea, I thought this might be a reason for concern. That's why I proposed 16 round normal draft and 4 round rookie. If people have a problem with this, I'm still open to suggestions; we still have a LONG way until the draft actually starts.

But to keep this in perspective, the 3rd round of a rookie draft isn't going to mean much. It's rare that you are going to draft a gem outside of the first 15 picks. This might sound bad since I have an early pick in the rookie draft. With that being said, I could completely understand if someone was upset about it being an odd amount of rounds.

Suggestions are appreciated.

Comp, reception and carry points?

Postby Flockers » Sat Feb 12, 2005 8:09 pm

I think we should have .10 points for each pass completion, reception and rush attempt. It isn't a lot of points, but those tenths of a point could be the difference between a loss and a tie and a tie and a win.

Just a thought. I'd like to know ASAP

i voted no. I've never been a fan of these points, but I'm not a big opposer of this. If the rest of the league wants the points, I won't argue.
