17 is wayyy to many rounds for a NFL draft. 16 is ok, but 17 honestly pushing it.

I was thinking 15 rounds and a 3 round rookie draft for a total of 18 rounds. Since this is a dynasty, our rosters should be a tad bigger.

I'd ahve a 16 rounds normal draft, and a 2 round rookie draft, because dynasties are meant to last for a while, and if no rookies are involved, al lot of our players would be retiring, and there wouldn't be people to replace them. I think three and four rounds is too much though, because this would just be QB's, WR's, RB's, and TE's, and maybe kickers, not every position, liek the normal NFL draft. I can go with three if you guys really want it though.

But for the 3 round rookie draft we could have the first 2 rounds go in normal order that way the top draftees would go to bottom and bottom to top then the 3rd round can be a random order that way no one will get screwed.

Ah, good idea. I think we'll do that if we have 3 rounds.


As for mtryanks, I think we're going to keep it at 3 rounds for the rookie draft (2 rounds wouldn't be involved enough for a dynasty; and 4 seems too much). The number of rounds for the normal draft is still up for debate though. I still stick to my proposal of 17.
