Initial Season: Drafting
In 2005-06, twelve managers participated in a 17-round slow veteran draft on the forum. It was followed by a three round rookie draft, which was the reverse order of the initial draft. Rookies and other unowned players (FA's) could be taken in this draft.

Future Seasons: Drafting
Annually, NFL's Finest holds a 3 round rookie draft in May. These three rounds will be the reverse order of last year's regular season standings, with the winner and runner up taking the 12th and 11th picks respectively. The rookie draft will not serpentine.

Keepers & Cuts
Throughout the offseason, roster size is unlimited. In August, each manager has to cut his roster to exactly 23 players.

General Trading
Trading is allowed throughout the offseason. During the season, all trading will be held by yahoo. The trading deadline is prior to week 12.

If you are making a trade during the season involving draft picks, please post all details on this forum and accept the trade on yahoo. I will process the trade on yahoo and also update the future rookie pick threads on this forum. During the offseason, post all trades on this forum.

Free Agents
During the season, there will be a one day waiver period on free agents. The waiver wire closes after the championship game and reopens on the Yahoo site in August. During the season, a manager may only acquire an unclaimed player through the yahoo database. In the offseason, free agents may only be acquired through the draft.

Tanking
If there is conclusive evidence that a manager has "tanked" in order to acquire a better draft spot the following season, the manager may be dismissed from the league.

I still think that we should have .10 of a point per pass completetion, catch and rushing attempt. So, for every ten of those categories, you'll earn one point. That .10 of a point could be the difference between a loss and a tie and a tie and a win.

I've never played dynasty before either, so I'll have to pay close attention to age and stuff liek that, since I'll be keeping most of my players throughout the year.

It could even be considered more of a giant keeper league then a dynasty, where you keep 14 out of 17 players. Sounds cool. I'm fine with all of the scoring.

I've never played keeper. Until I came across the Cafe, I just played H2H yahoo league with my football friends.
