Every year, from season to season, you keep 17 out of the 20 players on your roster. You must cut 3 players to make room for the rookie draft. You are trying to build your team for the future while also concentrating on the present. You want to build the best dyansty possible, hence the term dynasty league.

Which are we doing? Is it a 17 round initial draft + a three round rookie draft = 20 players total or 14 round initial draft + three round rookie draft = 17 players total? Just wondering.[/b]

We expanded from a 17 player roster (14 vet/3 rook) to 20 player roster (17 vet/3 rook) since the majority ruled:

Most dynasty leagues actually have more roster spots than that (25-30), but it seems like some people may have been a little tenative to even switch to 20, so we'll keep it that way.

BTW, I may be editing the rules about trading a little in the next day or two, but it'll be very minor. Just wanted to give a heads up.

I've made the changes. Please take note of them:

MeShawn wrote:Trading is allowed year around. During the season, all trading will be held by yahoo. If it's a normal trade (just involving players), I will process it on yahoo, after reviewing the trade.

If you are making a trade during the season involving rookie/FA draft picks, you MUST post all details on this forum and accept the trade on yahoo (if players are involved also). I will process the trade on yahoo and also updated the future rookie pick threads ON THIS FORUM to keep track of it.

During the offseason, just post the trade on this forum, have both people agree to the trade, and I will process it. 2-for-1 deals are allowed (DOESN'T have to be same total on both sides).

A month prior to the season, we will have CUTS. If your roster is over 20 players at that assaigned date, you will have to cut it down. If your roster is below 20 players, you will just fill in those empty roster spots once we setup on yahoo.

Just minor changes, but still take note.
