I think its only d-lineman that say it happens every play. I am sure it happens more than is called, but to say it happens every play is pretty ridiculous.

No, I don't think so. I think D-line and O-line guys will generally tell you it happens every play, it's just a matter of how they hide it. The ones that are called are the obvious, which usually happen when the gap between O-line and QB/RB is stretched and penetrated.
The ones that aren't called happen every play when the horses meet and fight in the trenches... knuckles are broken, blood is spilled, spit is exchanged and spirits are broken.
Then you line it up... do it again... until you can own the other man's soul.
This is how games are won by lineman. B-)

hahha that was the first thing i thought when i started reading this :-) :-b :-)

Make that three. :-b
Weird... so who are the refs gonna favor in the Super Bowl? Obviously, these are the exact two teams which the grand NFL/Media conspiracy wanted.
Don't trust anything you see...
Paranoia is just a heightened sense of awareness. :-o

Seriously, I don't remember the specific play, but I would assume the very human refs missed the meat of the action, and then didn't make the subsequent call because they didn't see everything. Happens every game. As far as the Patriots not being penalized, that probably has something to do with discipline and coaching.

I'll get things started early. Refs 7, Eagles 0.

After reading GP's thread, I was like, holy crap, there goes another cafe member forced to the darkside by the evil forces of bagobonez. :-o

More... in 3 of the Patriots last 5 playoff games, they have not had a pass interference call called against them.

Ahem, this is getting worse...more discipline and coaching I suppose. :-)
