Go Eagles!

Why?

Well one of my best friends will be at the party I go to. He is a Michigan fan. I am a Notre Dame fan. We battle all the time and he loves to brag about Tom Brady all the time. Therefore, I hope the Pats lose so I can throw it back in his face.

We do however agree on two Wolverines. A-Train and (see sig).

Patriots just for all of my bets and bragging rights at stake. No other reason, I'm not a fan or hater of either team. I basically got eliminated from all of my pools in the first round, and thanks to Manning's puss performance against the Pats I now don't even have a shot at second place in my playoff league.

I really want the eagles to win on sunday for two reasons:

1) I want the Pats fans to shut up for once.
2) If you're from Philly, I'm sure you've heard this. The Eagles were a great team until the 70's or around there. After winning their last superbowl, the Philly government pfficials decided to allow people to build buildings over a staue of william penn in philly. Since then, they haven't won the superbowl. It's like the Red Sox curse, which by the way STILL LIVES!!

Eagles. No question.

First off, I'm a Colts fan so rooting for the Patriots is a crime.

Also, my best friend is a huge Eagles fan, so it's only right that I back his team.

Lastly, the Patriots are getting a little cocky these days. I would not mind seeing them lose to a team that has "no chance" of beating them. Kinda like when they beat a team, the Rams, that had "no chance" of losing to them when this whole thing started. It would be strange irony to see them lose to the Eagles in a year when almost everyone thinks the Pats are going to walk all over Philly.

Eagles.

I hate both teams, but I'd like to see the NFC take back the crown, and I want Dallas to keep their record.

I think that everyone, even cowboy, giant, and redskin fans want to see the eagles take down the pats (unless you're a pats fan of course). Everyone likes an underdog.

But, the reality is that the Pats are going to win big.

Eagles - I like the Pats but it would be nice to see someone else take home the trophy and I like the job Andy Reid has done. Plus the poor fans in Philly haven't had a champion in any sport to cheer for in a looooooooong time. ;-D
