being an atlanta fan i was sickened when our passing game was exposed in the NFC championship. i think we will draft this year for our off. line but we still need to remedy our receiver situation.... any thoughts on who we might get? mohammed, plaxico?

I think that it has been proven that Price is a number 2 wide receiver. Im not certain of the Falcons cap situation, but I would definately agree they need to get a proven wide receiver. I doubt they have the cap space for a Randy Moss, but Vick throwing to Burress, Price and Crumpler is just gross. That being said, they also need to protect Vick. On the list of priorities, the O-Line comes before the wide receivers.

They will address OL in the draft, my one buddy who is a Falcons fan is convinced they will trade for Gardener.

The problem is not the Falcon's WRs. Granted Vick's numbers would probably go up about 700 yards passing and 10 TDs if they landed Randy Moss. But Vick is not a good QB at passing the ball. I'm not sure just yet, but it seems to me that Vick could turn out to be nothing more than an insanely talented Kordell Stewart type player and may never evolve into a Donovan McNabb...

getting an Elite receiver would help the falcons, of course, but it wouldn't make much differnece. Having a great reciever on your team doesn't mean that Vick would become a better passer. If Vick was better at passing, Peerless could be a #1 IMO. It's not his wideouts, it's him. One way they would benefit froma better wideout:

-He'll gather more attention, giving Alge even more space to catch the ball and produce his amazing TE numbers.

Actually, I think Vick could get the ball to a quality #1 WR. Price is not and gave up about 2 games into the season. If Randy landed in Atlanta, the Falcons would be in the SB next year. Period. And that does not say that Vick is anywhere near a great passer but he has a huge arm and has shown flashes of amazing accuracy on the run. I don't think Vick will ever be a great passer or as balanced as McNabb but he'll be good enough to make him the scariest player in the league for years. Just maybe not next year quite yet.

Man, now that I think about it, Randy in Atlanta would be very interesting. Mora just might be able to mold him.

i agree with this. i see vick having a cannon arm and no accuracy..unless he tunes his passing game up i dont see any of those recievers making a huge difference.

Yeah I think ATL would be hands down the best team with Moss but I would be shocked if they could afford him. If I were a wideout Atlanta wouldnt be high on my list of teams I would want to go to Atlanta is more of a running team and when they do pass you get the innacurate overrated Vick throwing to you.

Alright done Vick hating I do believe Vicks passing would greatly benifit from a solid wideout though.
