You're right on that. I just checked and found this off of Google. LOL, no 8th grader, probably not even the all-knowing Mercer could know all of those words.
There are four words that end in "dous" in the English language and I can only come up with three — stupendous, tremendous and horrendous. Can you help me find the fourth?

mtyanks, not cool. Don't take credit for stuff you didn't think of, especially when the creator of the thread specifically asks not to look it up. I'd bet that 90% of that stuff on the list is also from google
