I really liked the music, but it didnt exactly set the mood. Then again just about everything about this SB sucked

the great halftime shows have always keeped the crowd excited and upbeat, which didn't happen this time. I skipped it because it was boring and played football with my brother. much more fun. now, only if janet jackson was there.... }:-)

I think I left the room the second the McCartney started singing I was going to pass out if i stayed it was really boring. There was no half-naked ladies dancing around. I have to say i was very disappointed.

The best half-time show I ever seen was last when the Lingerie Bowl was on!!.

Are you guys serious? I'd definitely rather watch Paul McCartney sing great music than see the latest trash from MTV. Society is going down the tubes. :-t

McCartney was alright.
But what the hell was with the stars and stripes NA, NA, NA crowd stuff at the end of the show. Just plain weird. Since when is Hey Jude some pro-American anthem?
The Fox Execs really pushed the patriotic theme throughout the pre-game and the half-time. Seemed a bit forced and out of place, IMO. We're here to play football, aren't we?

I thought that was a commercial for American Idol.

I never watch the halftime show...ever (unless I'm forced to). I'm sure Paul did a good job. My mom was probably happy because she loved the Beatles.

I always bring out this line from the Simpsons when Bart was watching the halftime show:

"Oh, this is useless. Come on, snipers, where are you?"

Bring back Bebob Bamboozled...a 3-D halftime experience that Bob Costas claimed would be "The single greatest moment of my life." :-B
